May 13, Philippine General Election 2013: VOTE WISELY!!!

It's election time again! Unfortunately, I wasn't registered yet due to some complicated reasons. Well, in that case of me not being able to vote yet, I wanted to ask each of my countrymen to please, please vote wisely! When I say wisely, it means let us vote the people who we think have the capability to contribute for the progress of our country and each of us. As you guys have experienced, our country has been into much of corruption for the past 30+ years and what does it resulted to us? Poverty. Partially because of the greedy people in the government and the other partials were because of us, Filipinos too cuz we've been too undisciplined sometimes.

The 2013 Philippine general election on May 13, 2013 will be a midterm election, as the officials elected will be sworn in on June 30, 2013, or midway from President Benigno Aquino III's term of office.
There will be elected 12 senators, 229 district members of the House of Representatives, 80 provincialgovernors, 80 provincial vice governors, 766 members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial legislature), 138 city mayors, 138 city vice mayors, 1,532 members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (city council), 1,496 municipal mayors, 1,496 municipal vice mayors, and 11,972 members of the Sangguniang Bayan (municipal council). In the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), there will be elected one regional governor, one regional vice governor, and 24 regional assemblymen.[1] Party-list representatives will also be elected. In total, there will be 18,022 national and local positions decided.[1]
In addition, we will be using PCOS Machines or Precinct Count Optical Scanners for the tally of votes. instead of what we usually use of official ballots for the second time.
Once again, I remind everyone to please exercise your right to suffrage ad vote wisely this coming election! The country's future is in our hands through these votes!
So we shall be really deciding for our country's sake here, so our vote will be our ONLY POWER to help Philippines. Let us not waste that and vote wisely!
